A Word from the President
 My name is Justin Seibert. I used to have an incredible job handling all internet marketing services for a large investment firm in Los Angeles with a focus on online lead generation. It was a fantastic company and I loved everything about it. Heck, their President took me downtown to help me negotiate and buy diamonds for my wife’s wedding ring. The only problem: it is a single location operation in Los Angeles.
Don’t get me wrong – I had a great time in L.A. right after college. I did some stand-up and improv comedy and it’s where I met my future wife. But life and priorities change. By the time my wife became pregnant with our second child, we decided to move away for the sake of our family. I know you can properly raise children in L.A. or even Darfur*, but we wanted to give our children an experience more like what we had growing up. This included moving the children closer to grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The Birth of Direct Online Marketing™
So my family moved to Wheeling, West Virginia and I started Direct Online Marketing™. I brought all of the online marketing expertise from a large, fiercely competitive market with me and broadened my horizons to apply this information to businesses of all types and industries. As we've grown, I have brought in a wide array of talented search engine optimizers, paid search marketers, and other Web savvy professionals for the same purpose. Our team carries a wide variety of skill sets, yet our focus remains the same: to grow our clients' business.

My Online Marketing Certifications, Memberships & Affiliations
I think that by reading a little more about me and my background, you'll feel like you know a little more about my company, our dedication to improving your business through internet marketing, and our philosophies.
Internet Marketing Credentials:
Google has certified me (and other paid search marketing professionals at Direct Online Marketing™) as a Qualified Google Advertising Professional. Verify my status and view requirements of their AdWords program. There you will also see that we are a Qualified Google Advertising Company.
Yahoo! Search Marketing has also given me certification as a specialist in the paid search marketing (often called pay per click or paid placement) field. Our entire paid search marketing team - all of whom carry certifications from both Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing - utilizes these paid search accounts to attain client goals whether looking to increase ecommerce sales, generate leads, create awareness, or collect sign ups for newsletters.
Due to the extremely fast-moving nature of the online marketing industry and in order to consistently improve paid search marketing campaign performance, it is increasingly important to test campaigns in order to increase results. To that end, I have completed Marketing Experiment's Professional Certification programs in both the Fundamentals of Online Testing and Landing Page Optimization.
I have served as Judge for the Web Marketing Association's (WMA) 2007 Internet Advertising Competition (honoring excellence in online advertising for various forms of Web and email ads) and Web Awards Competition (for Web Site Excellence). I have been asked to and plan to participate again in 2008.
Writing & Speaking
I have been fortunate to discuss various types of internet marketing in a number of different venues and through several publications. These include:
- Next Generation Marketing: Achieving growth, loyalty and return on marketing investment. I will be participating in a number of sessions throughout West Virginia during the Spring of 2008, including a presentation on Engagement and Dialogue.
- Online Marketing: Innovations that Work. I spoke about search engine reputation management to a group of business professionals in Southpointe, PA in a presentation entitled They Said What? Protect Your Reputation with Search Engine Marketing
- SEM II: Join the Revolution. At this Erie, PA event going over search engine optimization and paid search, I presented Get Found Fast! Paid Search Marketing from A to Q and fielded questions from an audience heavily weighted with industrial companies. This audience rated my presentation a 4.71 (1 to 5 scale) and gave me a 4.79 on knowledge of paid search subject matter.
- WV Connectivity Webinar series. I presented two of the six seminars of this series: Search Engine Marketing and The Do’s and Don’ts of Business Blogging.
- The State Journal. In addition to being featured in The State Journal, they have published a general primer to internet marketing that I authored, $25,000,000 a Year through Internet Marketing?.
- WV Executive. The Summer 2007 issue contained an elearning article I penned entitled E-Learning: Growing West Virginia Businesses.

Professional, Regional, & Civic Associations
I belong to a pair of marketing and advertising groups here regionally: the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Pittsburgh Advertising Federation.
I co-founded and am President of the upper Ohio Valley's young professional organization, OVConnect, which includes members from Southeastern Ohio through the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia to Southwestern Pennsylvania. I also sit on the steering committee of Generation WV, an umbrella organization of West Virginia young professional groups. Other young professional groups I belong to include the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) and Pittsburgh Young Professionals (PYP).
I am proud to be an active member of the creative communities team (Create WV) of A Vision Shared, an organization dedicated to improving West Virginia's economic climate through retaining and attracting a diverse array of talent to the state.
I also belong to Rotary International's Wheeling Club and serve on the marketing committee of Teaming to Win, a non-profit organization that provides a yearly conference with the charitable purpose of advancing and promoting small business prospects in West Virginia.
