Geo-Solutions is a certified Hub-Zone contractor for federal projects. Some of our most frequent clients have been the various agencies of the federal government. As a small business and Hub-Zone contractor, we are available to team with other contractors in bidding and executing federal contracts that may have a Hub-Zone preference on Deep Soil Mixing, slurry walls, permeable reactive barriers, and other geotechnical construction projects.

We have also worked for the Department of Energy and our principals have experience on more than 30 projects with the Department of Energy. We have experience in working with many other federal agencies including the Bureau of Reclamation, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Soil Conservation Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Natural Resources Conservation Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other agencies.

As a specialist, we are frequently called upon by federal agencies to lend our expertise on areas of groundwater and soil construction like Bio-Polymer trenches, Deep Soil Mixing, and jet grouting to important projects. Most often we provide assistance to federal agencies that contemplate using one of our specialty techniques.

Geo-Solutions has worked with 8(a), WBE, and MBE contractors on federal projects. We are able to provide our expertise to these contractors so that they can use their own labor forces to complete the work. On a number of occasions we have worked with Native American companies where our expertise can be combined with their local labor force and equipment in technical assistance contracts.

In most cases, Geo-Solutions serves as a subcontractor to a general contractor that is contracted by the Federal Government. Despite of our subcontractor role, we have often developed excellent relationships with federal agencies that usually continue from project to project. We value these relationships with federal agencies. When we team with a general contractor, our technical assistance contract approach frequently results in our selection on low bid contracts.
