Digital Marketing Interns
Looking for a way to gain experience while building your resume and evaluating career fields? We offer paid digital marketing intern positions where you can do just that and could even lead to full-time work after school. Our digital marketing internships are available for digital advertising, marketing, graphic design, and web development.
At this time, we are currently accepting applications for Summer 2019.
We are a top 200 Premier Google Partner digital marketing agency with offices in Pittsburgh and Wheeling, WV. Please note: this position’s work will be performed on-site and will require occasional travel between both locations.
We’re looking for a bright, hardworking individual with skills and an interest in advertising, marketing, graphic design, or computer programming – or a combination of the four. Internships with part-time (minimum 25 hours per week) and full-time hours are available now. You will perform a variety of tasks related to your skill sets, courses of study, and interests for future employment.

Yes, It’s Real World Work
All internships offer the opportunity to do real work and gain experience to help you find future employment. In addition, you’ll learn whether this is really a career path you want to take after seeing how the sausage is made. But you won’t be picking up dry cleaning or pushing brooms. Will there be tedious work? You bet! But, you’re also going to use your skills to create solutions that help our clients. You’ll leave with real-world knowledge and tangible results you can put on your resume.
Who You Are
To successfully apply for and excel in an internship, you will have:
- Outstanding computer skills and strong familiarity with the internet
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- An intermediate or higher level of understanding of Microsoft Excel
- A positive attitude and professional behavior
Programmers will also need knowledge of a variety of programming languages, databases, etc. Designers will need a strong eye for design and in-depth understanding of how to use image-manipulating software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
This internship is not for everyone. You’re expected to work hard and perform just as though it were a regular career position. You may find that you love the work, or you may find that you hate it, but either way you’ll have a clear idea about whether you want to pursue a career in marketing, design, or programming.
Here’s what some interns had to say about the opportunity:
“I thoroughly enjoyed my internship experience at Direct Online Marketing. Justin Seibert gave me an opportunity to become more valuable in the marketplace. As a search marketing intern at DOM, I received hands-on training along with instruction. I would recommend a DOM internship to anyone who is interested in learning the nuts and bolts of online marketing.”
“The experience I gained in one summer at DOM taught me more about search marketing than the two years I spent working on my MBA. This internship is invaluable to anyone considering a career in online marketing or SEO. Those who are serious about getting their hands dirty will be rewarded with wonderful learning opportunities. In addition, Justin and his staff are a true pleasure to work for.” Past interns have come from schools such as:
- Akron University
- Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh
- Pittsburgh Technical Institute
- Smith College
- West Liberty University
- West Virginia University
- Wheeling Jesuit University
