What You Get With Our Amazon Services

Selling on Amazon isn’t exactly a cakewalk.

Between competing with resellers, big name brands, and Amazon itself, getting your products seen is a massive hurdle to overcome. Our team is fully equipped to help you with either Amazon SEO or sponsored product campaigns. And if your budget allows, combining these two approaches as part of an overall strategy can really boost your return.

If you know what works for your business but want a specific tactic to assist in improving selling performance on Amazon, we’re more than glad to provide the service of your choosing. We can be flexible enough to suit your needs, but we always recommend our comprehensive approach for better results.

When working with us, we guarantee to deliver all of the following in our complete offering of Amazon marketing services.

1

Discovery & Initial Research

Our team seeks to gain a clear understanding of your product catalog, your target customers, and your competitors. In this first phase, our team defines deliverables and aligns with you on campaign goals and expectations.

2

Strategic Planning

After listening to your goals, we build a custom plan to serve as our roadmap to success. We then continually refine our strategic plans to hold ourselves accountable; nothing falls through the cracks. And our planning includes regular testing, which means we never let anything run on autopilot.

3

Product Listing Optimization

The best place to start with Amazon is ensuring that your product listings are fully optimized for searches. We perform comprehensive research on keywords as used specifically by Amazon shoppers. From there, we segment by product categories and then apply our findings to specific products for performance tracking purposes. At regularly scheduled intervals, we analyze all product listings to see how we can optimize your full product catalog at scale.

4

Advertising Campaign (Re)Build

To set you up for success, our analysis aims to make specific recommendations for improving your existing Seller Central account. This involves reviewing historical performance data, sponsored product campaign structure, or getting your brand accepted into Amazon’s Brand Registry program. If needed, we are also happy to get a new Seller Central account up and running.

5

Keyword Management

Keywords are crucial to any efforts on Amazon. For sponsored product promotions, keywords drive these types of campaigns. Keyword management goes beyond the initial research, requiring continued analysis to reduce unnecessary ad spend and to identify complementary and competitor products to target. The result: a lean account which only emphasizes keywords that yield more sales.

6

Daily Management

The word “autopilot” isn’t really a part of our vocabulary. No matter how well a campaign performs, we constantly review to understand how we can make your ad dollars work harder for you. A campaign not watched closely will waste your money, sometimes drastically. In other cases, you may be limiting your returns based on low budgets to high performing campaigns.

7

Reporting

We provide data and insights on a weekly basis with full transparency. When things are going well, we share why. When performance is down, we don’t sugarcoat the news—we provide recommendations on how to right the ship. Your dedicated account manager will discuss findings with you on set calls weekly or at an interval of your choice, looping in other team members and analysts as helpful to the conversation.

8

Continuous Strategic Recommendations

We’re dedicated to being your partner for growth on Amazon. Our goal is to deliver results, but we want to do more. Rather than hang back and recreate past successes, we’re constantly looking for new ways to improve our performance. For example, if your products need more reviews, we’ll suggest multiple ways to accomplish that goal.

FAQ

You have questions and we have answers. We’ve compiled some of the most common questions we get. If you don’t find answers to yours, give us a jingle at 800.979.3177.

Is Amazon SEO Much Different From Traditional SEO?

A bit of a tricky question considering that traditional search engines and Amazon are designed with the same purpose—satisfying user intent and drive revenue with ads. Both Google and Amazon want to answer a person’s query quickly and satisfactorily. However, to perform well, “traditional SEO” requires strategic work in more areas, including user experience, content creation, outreach, and website development. Amazon is expressly meant for people who are typically ready to buy at that moment. To answer a shopper’s query, Amazon will evaluate factors which are specific to its platform. These factors make Amazon SEO just different enough from traditional SEO.

Seller Central Only Allows Sponsored Product Ads. Are There Other Advertising Options in Amazon?

At this time, the full suite of advertising tools is only available to companies in Amazon’s Vendor program.

How Do I Set My Ad Budget for Amazon?

If you have run sponsored product promotions in the past and have good data, determine the number of sales you want and back out the math based on prior cost-per-conversion and other vital metrics.

If you haven’t run a sponsored product campaign before or don’t have sufficient data, you can still use a similar process. Create low, high, and middle ranges for crucial metrics. Employ some rough math to create several ranges for cost-per-sale, put in the number of sales desired, and factor in your risk tolerance and profit margin. If you haven’t worked through this process before, working with a digital advertising agency is your best bet to help you develop your forecasts.

Can You Guarantee Results?

As much as we’d like to, no.

We can’t and won’t guarantee results. There are too many variables at play, including ones beyond our control. Sometimes things just don’t work out for whatever reason. We’ve been successfully helping clients grow with digital marketing for many years and have developed a good eye for where we can drive success. And if we don’t think our chances are strong, we’ll tell you we shouldn’t work together.

Bottom line: never trust any agency that guarantees results. Run far, far away.

How Do I Get More Reviews for My Products?

Reviews are becoming increasingly important on the web at large, and especially for Amazon sellers. Keep in mind that a person is more likely to leave a review after a negative experience, so you’ll need to have a plan for getting your satisfied clients to leave a review. Creating a great buying experience and delivering a product that meets the buyer’s needs is critical. If you have that covered, we can help you develop a plan to increase positive reviews.

Do You Offer Product Photography & Editing Services?

We do not offer product photography services, but can help you find a photographer in your area.

How Do I Get My Products to be Sold with Amazon Prime?

There are two ways to have your products sold via Amazon Prime—as a vendor or through the “fulfilled by Amazon” (FBA) option.

A special invitation is required to become an official Amazon vendor, but any seller can use the FBA designation to sell and ship products via Amazon. In this case, you send a large shipment to one of Amazon’s warehouses where the products will sit until purchased. You then pay a fee by the weight and space taken up in the warehouse. On top of all this, Amazon usually takes a higher cut from the overall transaction. With FBA, a product will brandish the Amazon Prime logo, and Prime members can have the item shipped for free in one to two business days. Many sellers can justify using FBA, whereas others will be limited by their specific products.

If My Products Are Already Optimized, Why Do I Need to Advertise, Too?

The biggest challenge with Amazon is the sheer number of comparable products (at least in the buyer’s mind) available on the platform. You may make the best product in your industry, but if a competitor has one for cheaper and sells at a higher volume than you, your product will be served lower in product results. Even if you have a top-selling product, advertising offers an excellent opportunity to increase your visibility for your target keywords.
