First off, I’m sorry for the inconsistent blogging the last week or so. I have a lot of topics I’ve been itching to write about, including how much ad position matters on paid search and how online marketing can help out businesses in small- to mid-sized towns.
Half the problem is that I’ve had more client-related work than normal recently as we’re getting a new Web site and multiple search engine marketing and search engine optimization campaigns ready to launch all at the same time in addition to normal day to day client work.
Another 60% of the problem is that the articles I’ve wanted to write – much like many of the recent posts already done – are a little longer and more time consuming in nature. The final Pi% is that my family’s taking off to Germany, or Deutschland as Frau Ragne used to call it, on Wednesday.
Even though I couldn’t get a substantive post in on my last day in the office, I wanted to at least update you on when you can expect more posts. That’s why I’ve stayed up until 2:30 AM to write this. Or it’s because my son decided 1:00 AM was the perfect time to eat.
More good stuff as it pertains to online marketing coming December 28th if jet lag doesn’t wipe me out. Otherwise the next day.
Also let me take this opportunitiy to wish you all a happy and wonderful holiday season with your loved ones. Or Merry Christmas or Happy Hannukah or whatever you celebrate. In California, I couldn’t wish well by holiday name; in West Virginia, I can’t say “Happy Holidays,” so I’m trying to cover my bases. And as normally happens when you try to ride the fence, I’m sure I’m upsetting everyone and making no one happy.
Anyhow, (I’m boycotting “anyhoo” as it seems to be making some sort of comeback) if you have any mercy in your soul, pray that my 18-month-old and 3.5-month-old sleep during their 9-hour flights.
Thanks for reading and your support. I hope you continue to enjoy these posts in the coming New Year.
