Digital Analyst

Ricky Diaz-Coca

Ricardo Diaz-Coca thinks in systems. It’s right there in how he describes his own job as a Digital Analyst at DOM: how pieces connect, where data flows, and what that means for the business on the other end. That’s not a tagline.

His path to analytics was anything but direct. Before DOM, Ricardo spent years teaching English and Spanish to professionals at companies across Europe — sometimes both languages within the same organization. Before that, he worked in AI-powered cybersecurity sales at Darktrace, where his job was essentially to take something technically complex and make it legible to a business audience.

He also spent close to a decade living in Madrid, taught English in Thailand, and presented at industry events across the US and Latin America — in English and Spanish, sometimes to audiences of hundreds. Ricardo holds a degree in Foreign Affairs with a minor in French Language and Literature, which rounds out a profile that is, to put it plainly, well-traveled for someone who now spends his days in data.

What all of that background produces is an analyst who can do two things most analysts can only do one of: find what the numbers are saying, and then explain it clearly to the person who needs to hear it. The data science and machine learning work came later, through deliberate study and a pivot he made on purpose.
