Direct Online Marketing has been awarded an Export Achievement Certificate from the U.S. Commercial Service for DOM’s work helping clients sell into foreign markets around the world.

Justin Seibert, DOM’s president and founder, received the award at the Business Opportunities in Latin America Conference in Washington, D.C. on August 19, 2019.  Seibert joined the conference to speak on a panel about how exporters can market their products to Latin America. He was joined by Reuben Smith-Vaughan, Manager, Latin America Public Policy at Amazon and Francisco Hugo Estrazulas de Souza of the Inter-American Development Bank.

What does this award mean for DOM?

“I’m very humbled to accept this award on behalf of the entire DOM team,” Seibert said. “The U.S. Commercial Service awards only a very small fraction of exporters with the Export Achievement Certificate. We started by helping our U.S. clients export, then began a long road of exploring international markets ourselves. This certificate represents a lot of hard work from a very talented team. We’re proud of all the success we’ve helped our clients achieve in growing their businesses from China to Argentina and many points in between.”

What has it been like to foster relationships with people and businesses outside the U.S.?

“We’ve always taken pride in helping U.S. businesses help our economy by bringing in business from overseas. We still enjoy doing that and, especially, educating new exporters. Likewise, we love helping our overseas clients expand their markets beyond their local area. Being a company with our roots in West Virginia, though, we get special satisfaction from helping companies in smaller markets grow confidently online. We know what an impact outside revenue can have on their local communities,” said Seibert.

To date, DOM has helped its clients sell into 150+ international markets on all 6 populated continents. (We’re still looking for that elusive partner in Antarctica!)
